This gigantic specimen scurried around tropical forest flores scavenging for fungi. It used the two large antenna to detect and identify fungi spores which it could follow to find its next meal. The shell on this creature contains tiny pleats. It is argued whether the pleats were used to make sound or were used to store fungi spores used as samples to identify unknown spores. This size is a common outcome of having very few predators.
• The antenna extend out from the cast surface by about an inch.
• The cast piece can be cleaned with a tiny amount of rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth.
• Comes with certificate of authenticity.
